Who and how preserves libraries in Armenia
Переглядів 4221 день тому
In Armenia's libraries, there are experienced staff members, some with 40-50 years of tenure, who cherish paper books and old bindings. Who are these people, and how can libraries be made more appealing to visitors now that many books are available online? A journalist from JAMnews attempted to find answers to these questions at one of Armenia's regional libraries. t.ly/LSsDC The stories are to...

I have a 1957 Russian printing of The Knight in the Panther's Skin. I purchased it from an Icelandic used bookstore around 1995. I had no idea what it was, just that it had an interesting provenance. I've taken it with me on three international moves without ever knowing what it was. I always thought it was from Persia or the subcontinent. I just ran a picture of the title through the Google image search and discovered it was Georgian. Now that I know what it is, I'll have to buy an English translation so I can read it.

These kids from the Gali region are Mingrelians and their native language is no more Georgian than the native language of the Catalans is Spanish.
1:10 Beautiful lady 🙂
Georgians is Christians too, you are welcome
Discrimination wear hijab no difference discrimination no wear so be human being sensible
the meaning of tolerance itself is accepting and appreciating the differences that exist. but if an employer rejects a female employee just because she wears a hijab then that is not tolerance... that is bullshit!!!
Notice how quickly they scatter when the cops do their job.
Когда уже они уберуться с моей земли?эти безродные хаи.
Azerbaijan please ban him we hate him
Wonderful video ❤
Can you do cons and pros of Baku. Thank you
Damn you Shia satanic hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
Başkənd Gədəbəydir
In Azerbaijan only one person can be gay that’s the president
Yet no one ever goes and interviews the people protesting against the transparency law. Because the vast majority of these don't have a clue what they are protesting, they just get money from NDE who sponsor colour revolutions to topple governments. Stop worshipping the West, Europe is a mess, UK/ US are a mess. These are not civilised entities. They're happy sending endless weapons to Is-a-lie to genocide Palestinians and beat their own young people who protest the genocide and the sending of weapons.
Currently, more than 5,000 Shiites have been arrested in Azerbaijan for the fact that they are Shiites. These are all the tricks of Ilham Aliyev at the behest of the Zionists
I don't know why but abkhazian weirdly sound familiar to Arabic and Hebrew.
Many Abkhazian surnames were forcibly changed to Kartvelian / Mingrelian during Soviet era, e.g. "Maan" became "Margania", "Kakwbaa-ipha" became "Kakubava", "H'aluasch" became "Khalvashi" and so on.
Also they speak Abkhazian as a native language, which has nothing in common with Georgian except a shit-ton of Persian loanwords.
Democracy at its peak 😂 Saudi, Jordon, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt silent. Idiots r fighting.😂
Of course they don't have the faintest idea why they were brought to the capital city; they're ordinary villilagers, country bumpkins, who work in local municipalities as blue - collar workers. They're not au fait with the intricate complexities of the world politics...
I would eat there every day. And I'd probably gain fifty pounds. Looks wonderful.
What is the name of this establishment?

I've met this lady today, she is still well (as it possible to say so in her conditions)
Why in the world would you not want that bill unless you are the EU hiding the highjack of Georgian democracy 🤔
This is correct
As an Azeri i am against islam , we should eradicate this disgusting religion with pedofile muhammad

"If we tell our story in different states the process will be accelerated" Which story? the story of killing aorund 3,000-30,000 georians and displacing n kicking 200,000-300,000? They first should accept that they commited a literal genocide to georgians, and give gali, tkvarcheli, ochamchira, gulripshi, sukhumi and gudauta, which were georgian majority before the apsua took it in the georgian civil war with help of russia and ossetia
😁
@6:14-:6:17 I heard her say 'gamarjoba' which I thought meant Hello? It was the first word I learned in the Georgian language but I did not see the word hello in subtitles. Does it have a second meaning?
They are idiots . They want foreign interference. It’s all CIA behind thous protests .
What's the point practicing a religion day by day it's obvious who we call God has nothing to do in our daily life! After death nobody knows what happens!!
Is wearing niqab banned im Azerbaijan??
Banned in government institutions and always discoursed
no it is not banned
For our class presentation, we had to explore a minority group in Armenia, and my group decided to investigate Molokans. Even though they are hard-working and kind people, they were quite close when we wanted to do some interviews and were usually reluctant to talk to us. The fact that they don't have churches and holy places to pray is very true because when we visited them, they would meet in the house of one of their leaders. Women had beautiful white dresses prepared for the meeting, and we heard that they usually sing excerpts from Psalms during the meeting. I also would add that they marry inside their community only. Moreover, the idea of Molokan is already not their religion but their ethnic identity, which was really interesting to reveal. In general, they are very kind people and faithful Christians.
Shia islam are not muslims, stop inventing
Kazakhstan Albania and Turkey are also not Muslim
Bro what is this 😂
Funny, these people have Georgian names and consider themselves close to Russians :).. Abkhazia is Georgia!!
